Redfin Engines of Dinnington in South Yorkshire, England, is a company dedicated to the supply of high-quality retro-style model engines, predominantly diesels. The company is owned and operated by Alex Phin, who has partnered with a well-known Ukrainian firm of high-quality engine manufacturers to bring us a series of finely-made and well-designed retro diesels. Alex also acts as the UK distributor for the CS range from Shanghai, China.  The company offers an efficient world-wide mail order service. 

A number of Redfin models have been reviewed in the pages of "AeroModeller" magazine by my good mate Maris Dislers, who has been very favorably impressed with them. They're not cheap, but quality is worth paying for in my view. Maris's latest Redfin review appeared in issue no. 937 for June 2015, featuring a pair of twin ball-race .030 cuin. (0.5 cc) sideport models having very impressive levels of performance.
