The only known surviving example of the prototype downdraft intake version of the mega-rare Hill 3.4 cc diesel. Extremely well made and a superb runner! Formerly owned by Denis Coe, who got it directly from manufacturer John Hill of Clacton-on-Sea in Essex, England. The more common but still mega-rare version of the Hill 3.4 cc diesel had a conventional horizontal intake. The full story of the Hill marque may be found elsewhere on this website.
