Bungay High-Speed 600

Last of the various attempts during the 1940's to come up with an FRV racing engine that could compete with the Dooling 61 and McCoy 60 Series 20.  Although a very fine engine, the Bungay fell somewhat short, attracting little market attention. It was only offered for a few months in 1948. This is a replica commissioned by Woody Bartelt and made in the Ukraine to a very high standard. An in-depth article on this engine may be found on the "Model Engine News" (MEN) web-site.
