The Aerol engines were manufactured by Aerol Engineering of Liverpool, England for about a one-year period spanning the years 1947-1948. They were the predecessors of the famous Elfin range, which was introduced by the same manufacturer in mid 1948. There were only two Aerol models, the Gremlin and the Hurricane, which were both of 2 cc (0.12 cuin.) displacement. Both models are fine runners. A detailed article about the Aerol engines may be found elsewhere on this website.
