The late Ivan Rogstadius was one of Sweden’s most influential promoters of model engines, particularly diesels. He produced the first construction plans for a model diesel to be published in Sweden, also constructing several engines, one of which powered Sweden’s first all-Swedish diesel-powered model. Ivan’s plans were highly influential in stimulating the work of early Swedish model diesel manufacturers, hence doing much to promote the adoption of model diesel engines in Sweden and other Scandinavian countries.
