The Kyowa 45 was a member of the short-lived Japanese Kyowa range, which only remained on the market from 1960 through to 1964. This very well-made engine is notable as having been the first model engine to be designed expressly for R/C use, although a subsidiary C/L version was also offered. The Kyowa 45 appeared in two successive variants, and there was a short-lived .09 cuin. model as well.
Full details of the Kyowa range may be found in a separate article on this web-site.
